Sean Patrick Thomas Rejoins ‘The Selection’ Pilot

03-21-12 On Set - America Singer's Village - The Selection 0010Save The Last Dance star Sean Patrick Thomas has been cast in the CW’s retooled pilot for the Hunger Games-esque The Selection. He also co-starred in the original Selection pilot last year, and I hear he is the only cast member from last year to return. Set 300 years in the future, The Selection is described as an epic romance centering on a working class young woman chosen by lottery to participate in a competition with 25 other women for the Royal Prince’s hand to become the nation’s next queen. Thomas is reprising his role as Sylvan Santos, the Queen’s close advisor and an expert on all things related to royal etiquette.

Ethan Peck + 3 Off Set; Heading to Lunch – March 20th (Pictures)

“The Selection” pilot continued shooting around Vancouver on Tuesday March 20th.  The production moved into the Orpheum Theater on Smithe and Seymour Street.   There were at least 35 young ladies who have been booked for several days of party scenes and today they were filming in the grand lobby of the Music Hall.  Twilight fans will remember they shot for a day in this Theater in 2011.

Ethan Peck was spotted with three lead actresses walking to lunch in the afternoon.  They seemed very happy and enjoying each other’s company.
